Secondary suspension systems for aesthetics, acoustics, and utility management.
What are they?
Gypsum Ceiling
Made of calcium sulfate dihydrate enclosed in heavy paper. It provides a seamless, monolithic, and highly elegant look. It can be molded into various designs like coves and steps.
Grid Tiles
Suspended grid of standard 2x2 feet squares where lightweight tiles (Acoustic, Mineral Fiber, or PVC) are dropped in. Ideal for commercial spaces requiring instant access to utilities.
How do we do it?
Marking & Suspension
Using laser levels, ceiling height is marked on walls. Anchor fasteners are drilled into the concrete slab to hang metal drop-rods or suspension wires.
GI Framing
A lightweight Galvanized Iron (GI) framework, consisting of main and cross tees, is attached to the suspension wires to create the primary structure.
Final Finishing
Gypsum: Boards are screwed, jointed with fiberglass tape, and sanded smooth.
Grid: Pre-finished tiles are simply rested onto the grid lips.
